Face painting for children, fairy tales, a photobox, balloons, dance interludes and much more was scheduled for Kita TraumBaum’s opening ceremony in Frankfurt-Riedberg on April 30th. Based on its motto „A Place to Grow“, the nursery supports children and their families in developing their strengths and abilities. Nationality, religion, ethnic background, social standing or specific physical or mental conditions do not factor into this. The Kita-team bases its work on the Pen Green Center’s Early-Excellence concept. The central notion is that each child is excellent, and should be supported individually based on strong points and competence.
Not inclined to miss out on this were city councilman Jan Schneider, of the municipality council Kalbach-Riedberg, Friedhelm Flug, chief executive of the state-owned business development agency Hessen Agentur, and Thiemo Fojkar, chairman of the Internationaler Bund. Taking advantage of the wonderfully sunny weather, they celebrated the successful inauguration together with the Kita TraumBaum team as well as many children and parents.
Kita TraumBaum marks an important momentum in Frankfurt’s Riedberg district in terms of compatibility of work and family life. For the last 15 years, the number of children in Frankfurt has been steadily on the rise. Significant augmentations can especially be observed in development areas such as Riedberg.
Since such projects also make our hearts leap with joy, we have taken on the press work surrounding the opening ceremony.
“A Place to Grow” for tomorrow’s grown-ups – to us, too, this is a matter of the heart.
